"Are you scribbling?"
My friend asked,
And without waiting for my reply,
In a sarcastic way,
She said "Oh! You are a writer, so you scribble."
I smiled at her,
I wanted to give a smashing reply,
But instead I remained calm,
She went on strutting her stuff,
But my mind was not at ease,
Why the word scribble is fixed with writers?
Everyone scribbles,
A researcher scribbles before the experiment,
A architect scribbles before constructing a building,
A professor scribbles before giving lectures,
But nobody ever asked them,
Yes I scribble,
I scribble out my thoughts,
I give them a perfect fame,
I construct my own piece,
Scribbling is the first thing,
A child does after holding a pencil,
I after considering all the points of scribbling,
I wrote a particular poem,
For my that friend who asked me the question,
And gave her by saying,
"This is what I scribbled out for you."
By my expression,
She understood my passion,
My scribbles are just like my child,
And I am proud of my scribbles,
Because who knows,
Maybe in future they turn out to be a masterpiece.
Keep scribbling out. You produce beautiful scribbles.
